Nothing better than beef brisket cooked in the crockpot!

Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef brisket
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup liquid smoke
- 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 pkg brown gravy
- 1 can beef broth
- Fresh ground pepper
- Kosher Salt
Instructions
Place brisket in crockpot. Mix together other ingredients and pour over brisket. Cook on low for 6-8 hours until brisket is tender!

Recipe Thursday | Salisbury Steak

I love Salisbury Steak. I grew up eating the frozen ones and loving it. But I thought it was high time that I tried to make it for real! It turned out delicious!

Savory tender steak

Ingredients
- 1 can campbells French onion soup
- Beef Broth
- 1 Brown Gravy Mix
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 6 cube steaks
- 1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- salt & pepper
- Garlic
- Onion
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 3 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp mustard powder
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
Beat egg in a small bowl. Put breadcrumbs in another small bowl. Drench steaks in egg and then cover with breadcrumbs.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown both sides of patties with onion and garlic. Sprinkle patties with salt & pepper.
Pour off excess fat.
In a small bowl, blend flour, soups, broth, and gravy mix until smooth.
Mix in water, Worcestershire sauce and mustard powder.
Put steaks in a foil-lined pan and pour sauce over the top.
Cover, and cook for 30 minutes at 375 degrees, stirring occasionally.

This was so tasty and easy!

Ingredients
- 6 oz can of unsweetened pineapple juice
- 1 can crushed or diced pineapple, undrained
- 3 tbs soy sauce (We added a bit of teriyaki sauce too)
- 3 tbs brown sugar
- 1 envelope of dry onion soup mix
- 1 beef roast (about 4 lbs)
- 1/2 cup each: diced red & green pepper and diced onions
- Rice
Instructions
Mix ingredients. Pour over beef. Cook in Crockpot, 8-10 hours on low, until beef is tender. Slice or shred beef, return to crockpot and cook 1/2 more on high. Serve over Rice.

Recipe Thursday | Cowboy Beef Bake

I found this in a recipe collection that I have and have over the years made it my own. It is one of my husband’s favorite dishes.

Yummy beef stew

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 pounds stew beef, cut into cubes
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 large onions, cut into small chunks
- 2 green bell peppers, cut into chunks
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks
- 2 cans (6 oz) tomato paste
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 3/4 tsp pepper
- 2 cans pinto beans
- 1 can corn
Instructions
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add meat, garlic, and onions. Cook until the meat is browned all over. Put meat mixture into crockpot along with all the rest of the ingredients. Cook for 6-8 hours on low.

Recipe Thursday | Meatballs, Rice, & Red Sauce

So we all know that meatballs and a red sauce are yummy, but usually it includes pasta. I mixed it up and tried using rice instead and it was good – really good. My husband requests this frequently!

Great take on the serving of meatballs!

Ingredients
- 2 lb bag or larger of Frozen Italian meatballs (or make your own meatballs)
- Rice
- 1 Jar of your favorite Spaghetti Sauce (or make your own sauce)
- 1 Jar of your favorite Marinara Sauce (or make your own sauce)
Instructions
Place meatballs and sauces in your crockpot and heat for 4-6 hours on high. Serve over Rice.

Perfect stew!

Ingredients
- 4 lbs stew meat, diced
- Salt and pepper
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 onions, minced
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 cup apple juice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tbsp minced thyme
- 2 bay leaves
- 3 lbs red potatoes, scrubbed and diced
- baby carrots, diced
- corn
Instructions
Fry up stew meat with the oil and salt and pepper, onions, and garlic. Add meat and all the other ingredients to crockpot and cook for 6-8 hours.
