Beth can get pretty particular about things and she enjoys bossing her brother around. He's pretty good about letting her get her way, although sometimes he has to break free and do his own thing. Both of my kids can go through lots of blank paper, drawing their little hearts out. One day, as I saw we were getting low on paper, I just tore off a big sheet of my brown butcher paper and let them have at it. It keep them busy for a couple of hours, filling every inch of the thing. But the first thing, that Beth had to do was draw a line down the middle. She had to make sure that things went her way and that the drawings were separate. Silly kids. ... [Read More]

Life 2012 | Brotherly Protection
I want to remember these amazing little moments that make life worthwhile. I love these 2 kids so much. How did I get so blessed to be their Mom? On Sunday, March 4th, JJ and Beth were playing a game that they love to play with their Dad. Joey is the tickle monster and he has to stay in his chair at his desk and the kids have to try and get around him without being tickled. They have to be pretty sneaky to get by him. They could play this for hours. It sometimes moves to other rooms and especially on our bed, but in this instance they were in the living room. After playing for awhile, JJ started helping Beth get away, even though it made him get captured by that tricky Tickle Monster. As he was being tickled he called to Beth, "How about I always be here to save your life!" That ... [Read More]
Project 365 | Week 36
Monday, August 31, 2009 Beth hung out with me all day. It was her "special activity." She got all her smiley faces last week, so she chose to be with mom and we went school shopping for her, out to lunch, and then played at home! I think she had a wonderful day! Tuesday, September 1, 2009 I am so happy to be able to capture these fun moments when my kids get along. JJ was reading (to Beth) his little book he had made at school! Wednesday, September 2, 2009 I worked hard all week to finish up my pirate kit. It gets released next week, but it was so good to get it done. I hope my customers like it - I always get so nervous after spending so much time on a kit - hoping that it goes over well. We'll see. Here is your sneak peek to the kit! Thursday, ... [Read More]
Project 365 | Week 32
Monday, August 3, 2009 For the past couple of weeks I have been completely consumed with designing this new kit line. I have worked on this on and off for months - but the opportunity of a blog train and extra stuff had me getting it ready for this past couple of weeks. I got most of it done last week, but the first half of this week I had to completely dedicate myself to finishing it. Tuesday, August 4, 2009 My poor children and hubby had to basically live without me as I worked long, very long hours to finish these up. I stayed up most of the night every night the past few days to get it done. Wednesday, August 5, 2009 And then, I finally did it - I finished it. And I have been so amazed and blessed to have the response to it that I have - thank you all of you for ... [Read More]
Project 365 | Week 10
Monday, March 2, 2009 We got out the kids travel cups today as I am starting to put things together for our trip. Just looking at things and starting to plan out what I want to do and what I want to take. The kids like to play with these cups because they can put it around their necks. Pretty goofy kids - but I'm glad they can find delight in the little things! Tuesday, March 3, 2009 JJ's school is having a read-a-thon this month. Each student who reads at least 500 minutes (or is read to) will receive a pass to a local water park and also a pass to a family fun center. I've been really slacking off lately with reading to my kids, so this is a great opportunity to get back on track. We decided to start with The Complete Tales of Winnie-the-Pooh by A.A Milne. This book was ... [Read More]
