Last year, my friend Jenny and I created a scripture journal for the Come Follow Me program in our church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints). We absolutely LOVED this journal and we both used it so much in our study. Last year was amazing for me – and I really feel like I came to know my Savior so much more than I ever have in my life. We are so excited to bring a new journal into our Come Follow Me series – this year for the Book of Mormon!
This scripture journal provides a place for you to record the powerful happenings, whisperings of the Spirit, and the help heaven is providing for you each day!
As you read, take time to wonder and ponder, liken the message to yourself, find passages and quotes that inspire you, and commit to live the messages and truths you are learning, you will find these promises from our prophets and so many more manifest in your life. Your study of the scriptures will come alive and you will find new meaning and purpose as you make the time to read and journal your experience.
It is designed to use in conjunction with the “Come, Follow Me—For Individuals and Families: Book of Mormon 2020” manual and includes the themes/scriptures for each week in 2020. It includes 4 pages (every week) of blank lines and boxes to make this journal your own. You could doodle, make Family Home Evening notes, pick a song that reminds you of the truths you are reading about, or just write down your thoughts, feelings, or impressions that help as you reflect and make commitments to follow Jesus Christ. It also includes sections to WONDER, LIKEN, INSPIRE, and LIVE the messages!
